The Philadelphia Foundation is delighted to ask scholarship named as “Luther and Mary Ida Vandross Scholarship”. To be applying for the scholarship you want to be enrolled during a 4-year Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Scholarships from this fund are going to be awarded to help students in their pursuit to graduate from a historically black college or university. Five scholarships up to $50,000 award amount are going to be given to the winning candidate. The Philadelphia Foundation is that the community foundation that serves the Greater Philadelphia community. It’s one among the oldest and largest community foundations within the us , awarding quite $20 million in annual grants from quite 800 charitable funds.
Eligibility
- Enrolled during a 4-year Historically Black College or University (HBCU)
- Be in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of study resulting in an undergraduate degree
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have a 2.5 GPA or better
- Must be a resident of Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, or New York.
