National Cattlemen’s Foundation W.D. Farr Scholarships
The American Cattlemen’s Foundation is delighted to announce the W.D. Farr Scholarships in honor of the late W.D. Farr. The program is hospitable students who are enrolled as a grad student during a Master’s or Ph.D. program and attend an accredited institution of upper learning for the 2017-2018 school year .The purpose of the inspiration supports to educational and research activities which will ensure a wholesome and economical supply of beef to the general public .The program are going to be awarded $12,000 award to 2 outstanding students pursuing graduate degrees in animal science, ecology (water) or agriculture.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be enrolled as a grad student during a Master’s or P.hD. program.
- Applicant must attend an accredited institution of upper learning for the 2017-2018 school year
- Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to a career within the beef industry through classes, internships or life experience.
Benefits
Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
