Interested applicants can now apply for the Chick Evans Scholarship For Caddies 2020-2021. The Western Golf Association encourages the utilization of young caddies and supports the efforts of the Evans Scholars Foundation to supply scholarships and full housing to caddies with exceptional performance and limited financial means. The Evans Scholarship may be a comprehensive scholarship for high-performance students with limited financial means. To qualify, caddies must meet the need of getting an honest caddie history, excellent academics, financial need, and exceptional character. Notwithstanding, acceptance of Scholarship applications is typically at the start of the last year of the candidate’s highschool , also as freshmen.

Eligibility

• Applicants must have caddied, successfully and frequently , for a minimum of two years, Also, they need to be a caddie and/or performing at their sponsoring club during the summer when applying for his or her scholarship.
• Candidates must have completed their junior year of highschool with a mean above B in college preparatory courses and are required to require the ACT and/or SAT.
• Candidates must be exceptional in character, integrity, and leadership.

Benefits

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
