Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU) is inviting applications from eligible scholars for the Visiting Scholar Programs. The program provides a singular opportunity for university professors, post-graduate students (Masters and PhD) and independent researchers whose have conducted research relevant to any of AREU’s thematic areas. The primary Objective of this scholars program is to encourage Afghanistan experts and students who are within the process of conducting their independent research. The Afghanistan Research and Evaluation Unit (AREU) may be a premier, independent and impartial research organization based in Kabul. AREU was established in 2002 by the help of international community working in Afghanistan. Scholarships are awarded within the field of natural resources Management, Governance and economics , Gender, Constitutional Law, Social Protection and Livelihoods.

Eligibility

• University professors, post-graduate students (Masters and PhD) and independent researchers whose research projects are relevant to any of AREU’s thematic areas are eligible.
• Applicant must have his previous degrees.
