The University of Alberta is delighted to involve applications for its Alexander Rutherford Scholarship for Canadian students. This scholarship is open for Canadian students who want to undertake post-secondary studies. This scholarship program is for the aim of recognizing and rewarding academic achievement at the senior high school school level and to encourage students to pursue post-secondary studies. The University of Albert may be a public research university located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. it had been founded in 1908 by Alexander Cameron Rutherford, the primary premier of Alberta, and Henry Marshall Tory, its first president. Its legislation is that the Post-secondary Learning Act.

Eligibility

  • Be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada or Protected Person under
    Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, at the beginning of your post-secondary studies.
  • Visa students aren’t eligible.
  • Be an Alberta resident at the time of application. You or your parent(s)/legal guardian must have resided in Alberta a minimum of 12 consecutive months before starting post-secondary studies.
  • Be enrolled in, or have completed 60% of a full course load during a post-secondary or an apprenticeship program of a minimum of one semester long .

Benefits

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
