Brief description:
The Australian Government Research educational program (AGRTP) Scholarships (International) are specifically intended to support international students to undertake a search higher degree at Flinders University.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
The scholarship covers the international student tuition fees, a generous living allowance paid at the speed of $28,092 (2020 rate), and an institutional allowance of up to $1,485 to help with relocation costs and airfares.
The scholarship is tenable for up to 3 years for a search Doctorate degree and up to 2 years for a search Master’s degree.
Eligibility:
• Applicants must satisfy the University’s academic entry requirements for a Master’s degree by research or Doctorate by research.
• Applicants are required to possess successfully completed a minimum of the equivalent of an Australian first-class Hons degree (this may be a four-year degree with serious scientific research within the final year)
• Applicants must have met English proficiency levels set by Flinders University for international students at the time of application. Students for whom English may be a foreign language will get to provide evidence of their English competence.
• Applicants must not hold the same research higher degree qualification. Applications are only hospitable students commencing a search higher degree in Australia for the primary time.
• Applicants must not hold Australian citizenship, Australian permanent resident status, or New Zealand citizenship.
