La Trobe University is offering the La Trobe University Graduate Research Scholarship (LTGRS) to outstanding students including international applicants to finish a search masters or doctoral degree. Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarship features a value of $28,092 once a year (2020 rate) with a duration of up to 3 and a half (3.5 years) years for a doctoral degree or 22 months for a Masters by research.
It is also a fee-relief scholarship that covers up to four years for a doctoral degree or two years for a Masters by research.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to use for the PhD by Research scholarship, applicants must have a Masters by research degree during a relevant discipline completed within the last 10 years assessed at a La Trobe Masters by research standard of 70 or above, or possess a Bachelors (Honours) degree, Masters by coursework or ungraded Masters by research degree completed within the last 10 years where they achieved a weighted average mark of 70 or above across any coursework subjects.
The aforesaid degrees must also include a search thesis of 15,000-20,000 words, or include a written research component comprising a minimum of 3/8 of 1 year, or the applicant is that the lead author of a peer-reviewed publication or other research published within the last 10 years.
To be eligible to use for a Masters by Research scholarship, applicants must have a 3-year Bachelor degree during a relevant discipline completed within the last 10 years with a weighted average mark within the final year of 65 or above. they need to even have completed a thesis or comparable work of research equivalent that the University can assess for honours equivalence.
