Brief Description:
ESMOD Berlin is looking for applications to use for 2 Hessnatur Scholarships to attend the International Masters Programme – Sustainability in Fashion commencing in October 2014. Hessnatur may be a natural clothing company that produces organic clothing and textiles, which is one among Europe’s largest online fashion distributors and known internationally as an ecological and fair trade pioneer. Hessnatur will continue their support for the programme by again providing two outstanding fashion designers who have an engagement with sustainability, with a scholarship which will cover half the schooling to finish the innovative one-year English taught course.

The Master’s Programme – Sustainability in Fashion at ESMOD Berlin is that the first of its kind in Germany, which takes a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to sustainable fashion design. that specializes in innovation, the course unifies research, creative practice, education, and entrepreneurship to inspire new solutions with critical rigor, to satisfy the wants of a growing consciousness within the international apparel industry.
Target Group:
International applicants with B.An in Fashion or equivalent, with interest in studying in Germany in one among the foremost innovative and unique programs for Sustainability.

Eligibility
The winning recipient should display an innovative design portfolio with a high degree of excellence in conceptual and practical execution. Applications from candidates with a fashion marketing background also will be accepted and therefore the portfolio must be devised to satisfy your individual requirements. The applicant should demonstrate a passion for sustainability within fashion and therefore the portfolio must reflect the applicant’s engagement with sustainability so far.

Application
To apply for the scholarship, we require:
• the finished form for the Hessnatur Scholarship and include a written statement of 250 words (maximum) about your passion for sustainability in fashion and why you would like to try to to the course and why you ought to be the one who is chosen. Written statements that exceed the word limit won’t be accepted.
• Maximum 4 page (A4) presentation of yourself including resume/CV/biography outlining your current experiences so far including academic qualifications and work experience as excerpts of your creative portfolio. • This must be an edited selection of your best work so far.
