Brief description:
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities. The scholarships don’t cover undergraduate courses, PhD study, or any pre-sessional English teaching.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
Each Scholarship provides approved tuition and examination fees, approved airfare from your home country to the united kingdom and return at the top of your award, stipend at the speed of £1,084 per month, or £1,330 per month for those studying at universities within the London metropolitan area (rates quoted at 2018-2019 levels), warm clothing allowance, study travel grants, and excess baggage allowance.
The scholarships are usually tenable for one year only.
Eligibility:
To apply for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of or are granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
- Be permanently resident during a developing Commonwealth country
- Be available to start out your academic studies within the UK by the beginning of the united kingdom school year in September/October 2020
- By October 2020, hold a primary degree of a minimum of upper second class (2:1) standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree)
- Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more during a developed country
- Be unable to afford to review within the UK without this scholarship
