Other Resources for Florida Students
Access to raised Learning and Education (ABLE) Grant Program
Florida college students pursuing four year degrees at select private colleges and universities. The awards aren’t need based, nor can they be applied to tuition expenses at colleges within the State University System or Florida College System. Applicants must apply directly through the school FA office by April 1 of every year.
Adult Education Works at Miami- Dade Technical Colleges
The Adult & Career Technical education schemes at Miami-Dade Technical Colleges prepare students to enter the career of their choice through technical training. They also offer courses to organize students to require the citizenship exam, learn English as a second language and/or help steel oneself against the GED® or highschool diploma.
Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program
Eligibility: High-achieving resident Floridians (including highschool seniors) with financial need are eligible to use for full-tuition renewable scholarships from the Florida Department of Education. Applications are due by August 31 of every year.
