Doctor’s degree applicants are going to be given priority.
According to the notification, the vacancy is hospitable full-time postgraduates. No application for college kids learning language and literature except the Chinese language, no share for one scholarship vacancy.
According to the relevant regulation, the applicants for humanistic discipline (including Economics and Management) should pass the HSK5, applicants for science and engineering should pass the HSK4. Qualified colleges and disciplines are encouraged to line up postgraduate programs taught in English. Students who are taught in English won’t be arranged to review Chinese in theory, but he or she should obtain the credit of Chinese compulsory courses during the study.
2. Fuzhou University Scholarship Application
Applicants should apply to Fuzhou University within the given time, the deadline is March 20, 2021(please give clear indication “Application of Chinese Government Scholarship” on the title of email or envelop) Applicants should also log within the China Scholarship Council to use online. Form for Chinese Government Scholarship must be printed out online then sent to Fuzhou University.
Duration for scholarship and academic programs specified at the time of admission can’t be extended in theory. The admission won’t transcend the year. The supervisor should specify relevant requirements during enrollment.
3. Fuzhou University Scholarship Eligibility
1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, love china, in healthiness, and may finish the training tasks inChina.
2) Applicants should have a basic knowledge of Chinese or apply for the main taught in English.
3) Education background and age limit:
Applicants for master’s degree studies must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
Applicants for Doctoral degree studies must have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
4. Details of the Fuzhou University Scholarship
1) Exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, the fee for laboratory experiment, the fee for an internship. Costs of the laboratory experiment or internship that beyond the university’s arrangements should be afforded by the scholar himself.
2) The university provides accommodation (double room in principle) on campus.
3) Monthly living allowance is paid at the subsequent rates (CNY Yuan per month):
– Master degree students: CNY 3,000 Yuan
– Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500 Yuan
Students who need to suspend their studies due to pregnancy or serious diseases should return to the house country and buy the international trip by themselves. With the university’s approval, the scholarship status is often reserved for at the most one year, and their living allowances are going to be suspended at an equivalent time. The scholarship is going to be terminated for those that suspend their studies for other reasons.

5. Fuzhou University Scholarship Application Materials

2). Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). If applicants are university students or already employed, they shall also provide studying certificates or employment documents. 4). Personal statement of the applicant in Chinese or in English (no but 2021 words). The content should include study and work experience, special achievements; the capacity for research projects, and another capacity. Applicants for Doctoral degree studies should describe the creativity of a master’s degree thesis or work. List one or two target tutors.
5). A study or research plan in Chinese or in English (no but 2021 words), including problems that ought to be solved and expectations of research.

7). Two recommendation letters in Chinese or English (associate professor at least)
8). The photocopy of the HSK certificate
9). Students apply for music/dance major should submit CD that includes his or her own works; students apply for fine arts major should submit CD that includes his or her own works.( two sketches, two-color painting, and two other works)
10). The photocopy of the Foreign Physical Examination Form. Please save the first document yourself. this type is unified by the health quarantine department of China and may be downloaded from the CSC website: http://www.csc.edu.cn/Laihua/dl.aspx
Fill within the form in English. The applicants should strictly follow the parts requested within the form. the shape with missing items, without a photograph or without a cross-page seal on the photograph, without doctors and hospitals’ signature and seal are going to be considered as invalid. Insight of the result’s valid for six months, the applicant should choose the time for the physical examination accordingly.
11). The photocopy of the primary page of a valid ordinary passport, the duration of study should be within the amount of validity.

Note:
The above materials should be submitted in duplicate, and bind during a volume within the upper left corner according to the sequence. the appliance materials should be mailed to the Office of Cooperation and Exchange of Fuzhou University by March 20, 2021.(Check the address within the contact information, item 1) CSC won’t accept personal applications. Whether recruited or not, the materials of applicants won’t be sent back.
6. Approval and Notification
1). Fuzhou University will review the appliance materials, combine with, advice of the supervisor, results of the health examination comprehensively, and choose on the list of accepted students. The Admission Notice is going to be sent after the approval of the department responsible.
2). Fuzhou University is meant to send the appliance materials to CSC by April 31, 2021.
3). CSC will review the enrollment results and issue a Visa form for Study in China (JW201).
4). CSC will send the ultimate List of Accepted Students, Admission Notice, and Visa form for Study In China (JW201) to the Office of Cooperation and Exchange in Fuzhou University by June 31, 2021, who will forward the documents to the scholars consistent with the address listed in form for Chinese Government Scholarship in July

5). Scholarship students’ affairs shall be managed consistent with relevant regulations of Chinese Government Scholarship.
