Full University Scholarships Available at AUW
Asian University for ladies (www.auw.edu.bd) is offering partial and full scholarships for up to 5 years of university education! Scholarships cover tuition, room & board, school supplies, healthcare, and every one other educational expenses. Separate grants for international visit the AUW campus also are available.
Eligibility
- AUW strives to satisfy the financial need of every admitted student and offers full and partial aid supported each family’s background and financial circumstances. All aid awards are assessed before the start of the tutorial program. Transfer students are ineligible for aid .
Evaluation Criteria for Initial aid
- The overall financial situation of the student’s family from the documents provided by the scholars and their families within the initial form at the time of admission.Education level of the parent(s).Job(s) and profession(s) of the earning members of the family.The level of income of the parent(s)/guardian(s), i.e., the salary, business income, investment income, income , total household income, etc.
- The earnings of any supporting member(s) of the family, i.e. brothers or sisters.Movable and immovable properties in terms of market price at this rates.Community’s discuss the socio-economic condition/status of the family.The school the scholar attended before coming to AUW in terms of the tutorial costs for attending those schools.The schools of the siblings.Socio-economic situation of the geographic area where the student’s family resides.The luxury items owned by the scholar and her family.Bank statements.
- Tax return documents .Salary certificates for salaried parent(s).Information from a 3rd party source(s) as required .General assessment of people’s and committee members’ perceptions on socio-economic situation of the family/parents if it’s known publically.Family composition.Number of non-earning dependents.Other document(s)/information because the committee deems necessary.
- The aid Committee shall have the proper to research and verify all the knowledge and documents submitted by the applicants.
Eligibility to Continue Receiving aid
- Students are required to take care of a CGPA of two .0 annually to still receive aid ; financial aid are going to be renewed annually until graduation from AUW.
- A student cannot apply for any increase within the aid after she has started at AUW unless a drastic/ major event occurred that severely changes her family’s financial situation. Please confine mind that any approval of such increase in aid later within the program are going to be a rare occurrence.
- Travel Grant for recipients of monetary Aid
- Travel grants could also be awarded to international students who qualify for financial assistance. A travel grant is restricted to a one-way ticket to Chittagong and a ticket home after graduation from AUW. Students seeking support for travel home during intermediate summers may engage within the AUW education and earn money towards travel.
