2021 Global Excellence PhD Scholarships for Armenian Students, Abroad
The Global Excellence Scholarship offers variety of highly talented prospective students the chance to pursue a PhD degree.
The objectives of the programme are to foster high-quality research and to create new collaborative linkages between Armenian researchers and global networks of innovation.
Established in 1956 as a Portuguese foundation for the entire of humanity, the Foundation’s original purpose focused on fostering knowledge and raising the standard of lifetime of persons throughout the fields of the humanities , charity, science and education.
Eligibility
- Be of Armenian origin
- Be no quite 35 years old at the time of the appliance
- Be currently admitted or already pursuing a PhD degree in an internationally recognized research institution of upper education,
- as a full-time student for the tutorial year that the scholarship is being applied for (the award can’t be deferred)
- Have a supervisor or an assigned committee
- The Calouste Gulbenkian Global Excellence Scholarship for Armenian Students can’t be combined with another major grant received by the awardee.
Benefits
Up to 50,000 USD per annum , for a maximum of 4 years. Up to four scholarships are going to be provided per annum .
Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
