Horizon 2021 is that the financial instrument implementing theInnovation Union, a Europe 2021 flagship initiative aimed toward securing Europe’s global competitiveness.
Seen as a way to drive economic process and make jobs, Horizon 2021 has the political backing of Europe’s leaders and therefore the Members of the ecu Parliament. They agreed that research is an investment in our future then put it at the guts of the EU’s blueprint for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth and jobs.
Eligibility
- Horizon 2021 is hospitable everyone, with an easy structure that reduces bureaucratic procedure and time so participants can specialise in what’s really important. This approach makes sure new projects get off the bottom quickly – and achieve results faster.
- The EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation are going to be complemented by further measures to finish and further develop the ecu Research Area. These measures will aim at breaking down barriers to make a real single marketplace for knowledge, research and innovation.
Benefits
The work programmes are prepared by the ecu Commission within the framework provided by the Horizon 2020 legislation and thru a strategic programming process integrating EU policy objectives within the priority setting.
