USC Global Taiwan Institute Research Scholarship

American Researchers are invited to use for research scholarship at the worldwide Taiwan Institute . This scholarship is to encourage a replacement generation of students and policy practitioners to pursue research about Taiwan that’s informed by their experience with the island’s democracy. The USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism comprises a faculty of Communication and a faculty of Journalism at the University of Southern California (USC). The USC Annenberg School of Communication is that the school’s center for general communications. It offers degrees from undergraduate to doctorates.

Eligibility

  • American researches and postgraduates with a demonstrated interest in scholarly research related but not limited to Taiwan’s democratic development, politics, security, diplomacy , economy and social changes are welcome to use.
  • Preference are going to be given but not limited to researchers who haven’t traveled to Taiwan.
  • Doctoral students conducting dissertation field studies also are encouraged to use .
  • Please note that applicants must identify and secure a partner institution in Taiwan before departure.
