Overview
Each the ANU College of Arts & Social Sciences (“the faculty”) may provide a wide range of honours known as the “ANU Futures of Demography PhD Scholarship” (“the Award”) 12 months.
The goal of the Award is to support large achieving worldwide and domestic PhD students who’re conducting research in demography during the Australian National University.
Funding because of this Award happens to be given by the ANU Futures Scheme Grant, through the academic college of Demography, ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Eligibility
The Award will soon be readily available each year to a potential or student/s being continuing:
- Is a domestic and/or pupil that is intercontinental and
- Keeps a Bachelor degree with first-class honours, or even a Master degree with a study element or equivalent from a college that is recognized and
- Is enrolled or enrolling full-time in a PhD system in the Research class of Social Sciences, supervised within the class of Demography.
Benefits
HDR Fee Remission Merit Scholarship: Overseas recipients may also be awarded an HDR Fee Remission Merit Scholarship, to pay for the International beginner Fees for the typical duration of this Higher Degree Research (HDR) system, at the mercy of the person being ranked as competitive in a selection procedure that is merit-based.
Relocation Reimbursement: A reimbursement might be claimed being a payment that is one-off recipients, to assist with moving expenses, including those in value of this recipient’s spouse, de facto partner, and dependent kid or children, sustained in commencing their HDR program. In which a claim for a moving reimbursement is in respect of a person’s spouse, de facto companion, or youngster that would depend on young ones, they have to accompany the person to Canberra or join the person in Canberra within a year of the person commencing their HDR program. Recipients who are resident outside the Australian Capital Territory or that are forever resident outside Australian Continent at the time of application meet the criteria to receive a relocation that is one-off, capped at no more than $1,000 for Domestic pupils, or $2,500 for Global students, towards the costs of going to Canberra to use their eligible HDR program.
Thesis Reimbursement: Reimbursements are paid to recipients of this award to assist with ancillary expenses while carrying out an HDR that is a qualified program. Recipients are given a reimbursement that is one-off of $500 for services associated with the manufacturing of the thesis.
