Brief description:
The Belgian American Educational Foundation (BAEF) is inviting U.S. citizens and permanent residents who wish to undertake postgraduate advanced studies or research in Belgium for a maximum of 12 months in AY 2021-2022, to use for the Fellowships for Study or Research in Belgium.
The fellowships should happen between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2021. Fellows should be in residence in Belgium during the tenure of their fellowship and stay for a period of 12 months. If the guy chooses to stay in Belgium for fewer than 12 months, the stipend are going to be prorated accordingly. The minimum fellowship period is 6 months.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
Each fellowship consists of a non-renewable grant that gives for a stipend of:
• $28,000 for Master’s or Ph.D. students
• $32,000 for Post-doctoral Fellows.
In addition to the stipend, the inspiration will defray the value of insurance in Belgium.
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
• be registered during a PhD or equivalent course of study within the us at the time of application, or
• register during a graduate program (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Belgium while holding the BAEF Fellowship, or
• hold a Master’s, Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
The PhD degree obtained by post-doctoral applicants must not be quite 2 years old, as at 1 July 2021. Applicants should make their own arrangements to register or affiliate with a Belgian University or research institution.
Knowledge of Dutch, or French, or German is optional.
