This scholarship is hospitable current highschool senior or undergraduate students. Two awards are going to be given. Their goal is to reward 2 students annually, who embody Ben’s characteristics, with significant scholarship packages valued. the inspiration seeks to make a sustainable legacy of Ben Carlson through scholarship, ocean safety, and philanthropy. All candidates got to be attending a four-year post-secondary school within ten months of award application date. Applicants with present or past participation during a junior lifeguard program or present or past employment as an ocean lifeguard are going to be given additional preference.
Eligibility
- Candidates must be a current highschool senior or undergraduate student. Graduate students won’t be considered.
- Candidates must demonstrate a robust work ethic, academic promise, athleticism, and repair to the community.
- High School students must have a minimum weighted 3.5 GPA.

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
