Central South University Scholarship Description:

• Scholarship Award: The Chinese Ministry of Commerce will provide “Chinese Government Scholarships” to admitted students from developing countries. These scholarships cover both tuition and living expenses. They also include a round-trip international airfare for all the scholars and a maximum of two round-trip international airfares for home visits applicable only to doctoral students (one time per annum set at the top of a tutorial year). In terms of living expenses, it’s 36000RMB/year for the master program, and 42021RMB/year for the doctoral program. there’s also a settlement allowance of 3000RMB/person.

– TOEFL 85 or above in iBT (Internet-Based TOEFL);
– TOEFL 560 or above in PBT (Paper-Based TOEFL), or
– IELTS 6.0 or above in overall band score.
4) All applicants shall be in good physical conditions and carry no infectious diseases which can have a significant impact on public health or fall under any of the health situations prohibited by China’s Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Laws and Regulations.
5) Only applicants recommended by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Chinese Embassy within the country that accords with the candidate’s nationality are going to be considered.
