Coimbra Group Scholarship Programme for Young African Researchers
Coimbra Group Universities are providing, young researchers from universities in Sub-Saharan Africa with the chance to spend a brief period (1 to three months) at a Coimbra Group University to hold out a part of their research there. The aim of this scholarship programme is to enable scholars to undertake research during which they’re engaged in their home institution and to assist them to determine academic and research contacts. The scholarships are financially supported by the Coimbra Group member universities participating during this programme, while the Coimbra Group Office is responsible of the executive management of the applications. The scholarships include support for tuition, living costs, airfares etc.
Eligibility
- Under the age of 45
- Nationals of and current residents during a country in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Current staff members of a university or the same education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa
of doctoral/postdoctoral or equivalent status.
Benefits
Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
