At Crossword Hobbyist, we believe the importance of education for all students– regardless of their background. Making a successful crossword is incredibly challenging. we attempt to encourage and reward the creativity and diligence that goes into writing crosswords with our annual Crossword Hobbyist Scholarship. Each year, we award an excellent prize to at least one talented student. rather than the standard essay or proposal, our crossword scholarship is awarded to the simplest puzzle-maker within the land. To apply, students must create and submit one 15×15 newspaper-style crossword on Crossword Hobbyist consistent with the instructions below. At Crossword Hobbyist, they believe the importance of education for all students, no matter their background. Therefore, they’re pleased to supply the Crossword Hobbyist Crossword Scholarship.

Eligibility

• Any successful applicant could also be required to point out proof that they’re enrolled in, or are accepted to, an accredited university, commencing studies for the autumn 2020 semester.
• International students enrolled in an American or Canadian university may apply.
• Any students who know any of the Crossword Hobbyist committee members personally aren’t eligible to win.

How to Apply
