Egypt Higher Education Initiative (HEI) Scholarships
The Higher Education Initiative (HEI) is inviting applications for Public University Scholarships from young, exceptional Egyptian students for undergraduate studies in Egypt. 65% of the scholars will study a semester abroad within the us. The USAID-funded Public University Scholarships program through the U.S.-Egypt education Initiative may be a scholarship for top school graduates to attend excellence programs at public universities in parallel with specially-designed supplementary enhancement activities like English, leadership training and career planning, also as internships, community service, and study abroad. Interested applicants are going to be required to review within the fields that are crucial in building the longer term economy of Egypt (Engineering, Commerce, Nursing, Science, Information Technology, Agriculture, Law, Mass Communication, Education and Economics).
Eligibility
- Egyptian young men and ladies enrolled in Thanaweyya Amma in government schools including STEM schools.
- Student achievers in their first and second secondary results.
- Participated in community activities.
- Includes scholarships specifically for disabled applicants.
