The Erasmus Mundus Scholarships, funded by the ECU Union, are exclusively awarded to students coming from both EU and non-EU countries that are selected to attend one among the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes at Masters or Doctorate level.

European Universities/Institutions participating under approved Erasmus Mundus Action Joint Programmes.

About 116 Masters courses and 29 Joint Doctorate courses are supported by scholarships. The field(s) of study covered are Agriculture and Veterinary, Engineering, Manufacture and Construction, Health and Welfare, Humanities and humanities, Science, Mathematics and Computing, and Social Sciences, Business and Law.

Target group:
Category A Scholarships: Nationals from another country than the ECU trade unionist States and Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein all at once.
Category B Scholarships: Nationals from the ECU trade unionist States, or from Switzerland, Iceland, Norway or Liechtenstein.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
The programme offers full-time scholarships and/or fellowships that cover monthly allowance, participation costs, travelling and insurance costs of the scholars. Scholarship amounts can vary consistent with the extent of studies, the duration of studies, and therefore the scholar’s nationality (scholarships for non-EU students are above for EU students).
