Facebook Emerging Scholar Award Program

The Award is meant to specifically support talented students from underrepresented minority groups and encourage them to continue their PhD studies, pursue innovative research, and have interaction with the broader research community.
The award is hospitable students at universities within the US and abroad who are enrolled during the present school year and studying computing , computer engineering, EE , system architecture, or a related area.

Applications are going to be evaluated supported the the strength of the student’s proposed research and their recommendation letters.

 

Eligibility

The award is hospitable students within the least universities both in the us and in other countries.

  • For the aim of the Emerging Scholar award, underrepresented minority group is taken into account to incorporate persons who identify as: Black or African American, person having origins in any Black racial groups of Africa; Hispanic or Latino, person of Cuban, Mexican, Puerto Rican , South American, Central American, Caribbean, or other Spanish culture origin, no matter race; Native American or Alaska Native , person having origins in any of the first peoples of North, Central, or South America and who maintains tribal affiliation or community attachment; Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, person having origins within the original peoples of Hawaii, Guam, Samoa or other Pacific Islands.
