French Government Scholarships for Kenyans
If you’re Kenyan and you’d wish to pursue a master’s or a Ph.D. This program aims at offering French expertise in research project and pedagogic engineering issues. They will even be awarded to Kenyan staff members of national universities and research institutes so as to strengthen institutional capacities (Staff Exchange Program).PhDs programs are funded for 3 months per annum , during three consecutive years. Currently, thirty-two scholarship holders are pursuing their studies in France. Travel and tuition also will be covered. This initiative aims at creating a social network between Kenyan scientists (sharing of experience, promotion of science in Kenya, implementation of multidisciplinary projects, participation in scientific capacity building workshops)
Eligibility
- Kenyan citizen
- For programmes taught within the English language: good knowledge of French language or a letter of intent signed by the applicant’s commitment to follow French classes at Alliance Française before departure.
- For programmes taught within the French language: a minimum level of B2 within the French language is required.
- To have identified a relevant educational program and get in touch with the French Host University.
