Fujian Government Scholarship 2021
The government of Fujian Province has established the Fujian Government Scholarship for International Students (hereinafter mentioned as FGS) in accordance with the Guidance for the Medium and Long-Term Educational Reform and Development in Fujian Province 2021, in an effort to further promote the event and make progress on the scale, level and serviceability of the international students’ education of Fujian Province, and attract more academically excellent international students to review in Fujian.

Fujian Government Scholarship CRITERIA & ELIGIBILITY
A. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and be in healthiness.
B. Education background and regulation
a. Applicants for Governor Special Scholarship Program must recommend by our Provincial partnership cities and be under the age of fifty.
b. Applicants for the International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities study in the Fujian program must recommend by our Provincial partnership cities and be under the age of fifty . .
c. Applicants for International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities trainees program and be under the age of fifty.
d. Applicants for the Independent recruitment program by Fujian universities include:
-Applicants for an undergraduate program or long-term language must have a senior high school diploma and be under the age of 30.
-Applicants for master’s degree programs must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
-Applicants for the general scholar program must have a bachelor’s degree or completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate studies and be under the age of fifty.
-Applicants for doctoral degree programs must have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
-Applicants for the senior scholar program must have a master’s degree or above or hold the academic title of professor or above and be under the age of fifty.
-Applicants should meet the language requirements of upper education institutions.
-Applicants shouldn’t be awardees of Chinese government scholarships at an equivalent time.
Fujian Government Scholarship Coverage and Criteria
The scholarship is split into the subsequent categories and is granted to the relevant institutions that accept international students:
A.Governor Special Scholarship Program: 60,000 RMB/person/year
B.International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities study in Fujian program:
30000 RMB/person/year
C.International Liaison of Provincial partnership cities trainees program
-Non-academic language students:30,000 RMB/person/year, granted to the scholar for one school year
-Short-term program trainees:5,000 RMB/person/month, granted to the scholar for the individual study period
D.Independent recruitment program by Fujian universities:
-Undergraduate program or long-term language students:: scholarship is granted to the scholars pursuing a bachelor’s degree for 3 academic years and students pursuing a bachelor’s degree for 4 years of 30,000 RMB/person/year
-Master’s degree or general scholar students: scholarship is granted to the scholar for two to three academic years with the quality of RMB 40,000 per annum.
-Doctoral degree or senior scholar students: scholarship is granted to the scholar for 3 to 4 academic years with the quality of RMB 50,000 per annum.
Fujian Government Scholarship Application Deadline
Applicants should hand in applications within written forms or apply online from January to April annually.
Fujian Government Scholarship Application Documents
The applicants must fill in and submit the subsequent documents truly, correctly, and completely:
a.Application Form For Fujian Government Scholarship
b.Highest diploma (notarized photocopy): Applicants shall also provide proof of studying on the appliance.
c.Original and photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form printed by
Chinese quarantine authority for college kids who apply to review for quite 6 months or above.
d.A study plan (400 words or above) or research plan (800 words or above)
e.Applicants for music and art are requested to submit the applicants’ own works
f. Students under age 18 should submit relevant legal documents from their guardians
g. Application documents won’t be returned.
How to apply
Scholarship Council Canada has an electronic application center, fill in the form and upload your documents. Upon successful application submission, you will receive an acknowledgment and electronic payment receipt. Keep it safe as a reference and wait for the outcome. Scholarship Council Canada team will take care of your further process upon qualifying.
