Brief description:
Each year, Rotary selects as many as 130 comforts and development leaders from worldwide to receive completely funded academic fellowships to pursue an expert Development Certificate Program or Masters Degree Program linked to peace and conflict resolution and avoidance at one of many comforts that are participating all over the world (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Thailand, Uganda)

• Global Christian University, Japan: Master’s Degree in Peace Studies

• University of Queensland, Australia: Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPACS)
• Uppsala University, Sweden: Peace and Conflict Studies (MS.Sc.)

Important Note: Fellowship recipients may well not learn at comfort that is rotary Center their house country, with the exception of prospects from Thailand, who may attend the center at Chulalongkorn University, and applicants from Uganda, who may attend the guts at Makerere University.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The fellowships cover tuition and fees, board and space, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study costs.
Eligibility:
The Peace is a rotary Fellowship designed for experts with work expertise in worldwide relations or comfort and conflict avoidance and quality. Candidates should also meet the needs that are after
• Have three years of relevant work experience for the master’s system (five years for the Duke
system)
• Have 5 years of related work experience for this system that is certificate manage to explain just how their intend to promote comfort aligns with Rotary’s mission (Candidates for Makerere University must either be from Africa, been employed by in Africa, or make use of African communities or initiatives outside the continent.)
• Be experienced in English
• Have a diploma that is bachelor’s
• Demonstrate leadership skills
• Have a commitment that is strong cross-cultural understanding and comfort

The due date for candidates to submit applications for their Rotary is the respective region 15 May 2021. Districts must submit endorsed applications to The Rotary Foundation by 1 2021 July.
