Brief description:

The Scottish Government, in collaboration with Scottish universities, are selling Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships to residents of select countries who want to learn full-time Masters degrees fully delivered in Scottish universities, within the aspects of science, technology, creative companies, health care, and medical sciences, and renewable and energy that is clean.

The scholarships target students who aspire to be influential leaders and that have wide-ranging passions outside their studies, as well as a desire to broaden their individual and experience that is scholastic Scotland.

• Healthcare and sciences that are medical e.g. Physical and Lifestyle Sciences; Astronomy; Chemistry; Physics; Biology; Wellness Sciences; Biotechnology.
• Renewable and energy -e.g that is clean. Sustainable Engineering; Renewable Energy; Biomass / Biofuels; Hydro / Solar / Tidal / Windpower.

Nationals of the following nations: Canada, Asia (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan, and the USA.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

Each award may be worth £8000 to be used towards tuition charges through the duration of one year of full-time research on a Masters that is a postgraduate program some of Scotland’s higher education institutions.
