The Groningen Institute for Evolutionary Life Sciences (GELIFES) of the University of Groningen and therefore the Department of Coastal Systems (COS) of the Royal NIOZ are accepting applications for PhD scholarships. As our student, you’ll receive high-quality supervision and have many programmes to settle on from. As an exceptionally motivated and talented student, you’ll join our Honours College for an additional challenge. Scholarships are awarded to highly motivated PhD students with a keen interest in evolutionary biology, behavioral ecology, and/or animal personalities. you’ll help create an integrative perspective on the adaptive capacity of organisms to environmental change.
Eligibility
- Applicants whose mother tongue isn’t English are usually required to supply evidence of proficiency in English at the upper level required by the University.
- Applicants must have previous degree.
