The Goethe Goes Global scholarship for master’s programmes may be a ground-breaking project, and unique within the academic landscape of Germany. the aim of the scholarship is to foster your academic career and support you during your master’s studies.

during this programme, up to twenty scholarships are awarded per annum.
Target group:
Both German and foreign students have completed a minimum of two-thirds of their bachelor’s degree (or another equivalent or higher degree) at a university outside of Germany.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
The Goethe Goes Global Scholarship offers:
- A monthly scholarship amount of 1,000€ for the quality period of a master’s programme at Goethe-University (generally 2 years)
- Support and orientation from an experienced master’s student buddy during your studies
- Access to seminars that specialize in professional skills at our Graduate Academy (GRADE), normally open only to PhD students and postdocs
- Access to an innovative research environment and networks that connect you with fellow scholarship holders and other advanced researchers
- Career support through Goethe University’s Research Support Office
Eligibility:
Are you an appropriate candidate for Goethe Goes Global?
- You hold or are on target to get a superb bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a university outside Germany
- You’re trying to find a stimulating master’s programme and are considering a PhD by the end of the day
- You seek a stepping stone to start out a successful, international career and funding for your master’s programme
- You’re well versed in your academic discipline and are particularly curious about research
- you would like a platform to exchange ideas with other international researchers about the topics you’re hooked in to
- you’re seeking hands-on experience in research under the supervision of fantastic professors during a renowned university with state-of-the-art facilities
- you’re highly motivated to conduct research
To qualify for admission to a Master’s programme at Goethe University, you want to have already completed a Bachelor’s degree (or another programme at the same level) during a relevant field and have passed the choice process of the respective programme.

How to apply
Scholarship Council Canada has electronic application centre, fill in the form and upload your documents. Upon successful application submission, you will receive an acknowledgement and electronic payment receipt. Keep it safe as a reference and wait for the outcome. Scholarship Council Canada team will take care of your further process upon qualifying.
