Governors State University (GSU) is situated in University Park, Illinois, and offers over 60 degree programs in technology, business, industry, healthcare, the arts, and education. The university prides itself on small class sizes of just 18 students within the first year of study, allowing all students to profit from many support and individual contact time from the teaching staff during classes. Other services available to students includes support for disabled students, a childcare center and a confidential counselling service. GSU’s facilities include a state-of-the-art fitness center complete with an Olympic-style lap pool, a contemporary gym, sports courts, and an excellent selection of exercise machines. there’s also a visible arts gallery, computer labs, nursing labs and a middle of humanistic discipline which was named because the best within the region.

- The minimum IELTS score required for international students is 6.0 (academic version), although for a few of the tutorial programs a better score could also be needed.
