Health and Care Management Full Fee MSc Scholarships at Swansea University

The Welsh Government wishes to support professional learners in the NHS, Social Care and Third Sectors in Wales to undertake education and personal development in key policy areas and have established an Academy programme for this purpose. Grant funding from the Welsh Government allows each Academy to offer a number of generous scholarships for eligible applicants.

Full fee scholarships are available at Swansea University on the MSc programmes in Advanced Health and Care Management (Value-Based) and Advanced Health and Care Management (Innovation and Transformation) pathways. There are limited number of funded places and these will be allocated in line with the criteria.

Scholarship applications must be made by the 28 May 2021. Applicants will be notified of the panel’s decision by the 5 July 2021.

Eligibility

• To be eligible, you must have hold an offer to study on the MSc programmes in Advanced Health and Care Management (Value-Based) and Advanced Health and Care Management (Innovation and Transformation), commencing in academic year 2021/22.
• Applicants must also be:
• currently working with/for the National Health Service, in Health Care, Social Care or the Voluntary Sector in Wales;
• have confirmation of support signed by their employer using the proforma provided by the University:
  a UK national or have ‘settled status’ (that means no restrictions on how long applicants can stay in the UK);
  living in the UK and Islands for the three years prior to the first day of the first academic year of your course.

Benefits

A full scholarship amounts to £11,250 to cover the full programme fees. Part-time candidates have their fee scholarship pro-rated to cover their fees over the duration of the programme.

The scholarship will be offset against tuition fee costs and candidates cannot receive the scholarship directly. Students will receive a notification on enrolment that their fees have been paid.
