Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme for Students in Uganda is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 Program. The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program brings accomplished professionals from developing countries to the United States for a ten-month non-degree study and related professional experience midway through their careers.
Mutual Understanding. Successful applicants will be mid-career professionals working at the policy level with leadership skills and a commitment to public service. Participants will spend 10 months (August 2022-June 2023) at a major U.S. university working on a self-designed project that includes independent study, courses, and internships with organizations in their area of expertise.
The U.S. Embassy in Uganda is seeking high-potential applicants to participate in the Hubert H. Humphrey. The program is designed to promote knowledge exchange and mutual understanding between U.S. citizens and their Ugandan professional counterparts. Why should you apply for this program? Eligibility Criteria for Hubert H. Humphrey
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree.
- Have five years of substantive professional experience in their field.
- Be fluent in English.
- Have a record of leadership qualities and public service.
