The Hywel Teifi Memorial Scholarship aims to support Welsh-medium postgraduate students who wish to review a field concerning the contribution of the late Professor Hywel Teifi Edwards to Welsh learning and culture – specifically within the fields of:
The Welsh language
Welsh history
Welsh literature
Politics in Wales
Media in Wales
Drama in Wales
Religion in Wales
Welsh cultural studies
The successful candidate are going to be awarded at an occasion during the National Eisteddfod week in 2021.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold a suggestion to review on a postgraduate research programme at Swansea University in school year 2021/22.
- The successful candidate is required to successfully complete their study through the medium of Welsh.
Benefits
This scholarship awards £3,000 and therefore the successful candidate will receive the complete amount upon enrolment.
