ICUB Fellowship for Young Researchers

Candidates within five years from their PhD (at the time of application) who have already proven their ability to figure successfully as independent researchers. For researchers holding two PhDs, the PhD relevant to the research field of the appliance are going to be taken under consideration .

The fellowships are mainly addressed to candidates not holding a permanent position in research or education and it involves working full-time at the ICUB.

Eligibility

• Candidates who have a piece contract with the University of Bucharest aren’t eligible.
• Candidates who have permanent positions in other institutions will need to provide an agreement from their institution stating the support for his or her research activity as ICUB fellows.
• Fellows are going to be full members of the institute during their stay in Bucharest, are going to be ready to use the institute’s infrastructure, and can participate within the academic lifetime of ICUB.

Benefits

Stipend: 2500 lei/ month (= approx. 560 euro, exempt from taxes).

Fellows will enjoy logistic assistance just in case they aim to use for other grants and research programs.

Fellows are expected to arrange scientific events (workshops, conferences, symposia, etc.). ICUB will provide technical and logistic assistance for the organization.
