Differential Tuition Fee Exemption international awards at University of Ottawa
In keeping with its commitment to francophone countries, the University of Ottawa will offer differential tuition waiver scholarships to international students from francophone and Francophone countries enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program starting in September 2021. This significant contribution means that these international students will pay almost the same tuition fees as Canadian students.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Ottawa
- Accept offers of admission to programs taught in French.
- Study full-time, taking at least three courses (9 units) per semester taught in French.
- Accept offers of admission to courses taught in English with a French immersion option; and
- Be enrolled full-time in a minimum of three courses (9 units) taught in French per semester.
