MoBSE is an academic ministry that’s existent within the Gambia and is liable for seeing to the essential education within the Gambia. Over the years, this body has continuously awarded various scholarships to Gambian students to enable them to pursue their dreams and become whom they need dreamt of becoming in life. This is a step within the right direction by the Gambian Government to make sure that education on scholarship is formed available to Gambian scholars, in their bid to develop and build the talents and skills which will remain ever relevant to the expansion and development of Gambia as a nation.
The scholarship program is for various levels of education, from the essential level, through to Secondary, Vocational and Technical, Tertiary and University Education.

The field of study is such it’s to be selected by the scholar for an undergraduate, master’s study in any Gambian institution .

Eligibility

• All applications must get on the MoBSE prescribed form ; the Training Committee (TC) isn’t obliged to think about any application that’s not on the prescribed application form which is to be received by the set deadline.
• Applicants must have a current unconditional acceptance or offer from the UTG. Those with admission before the present year must do the required deferment before applying and people with conditional offer must meet the conditions on the offer before applying for the scholarship.
• Applicants must be duly admitted at the varsity of Education of the UTG.
• All applicants must have 2 relevant subjects; one as major and therefore the other as minor.
• Late submissions won’t be accepted or considered by the TC.
• Applicants must be confirmed within the establishment, able to duly sign the requisite bonds, and apply for study leave with salary.
• The TC will consider only applicants who are admitted at the UTG on a full-time basis; applications from part-time students won’t be considered.
