ORID Rhodes Postgraduate Scholarship for West Africa in UK

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Development (ORID) is now accepting applications for Rhodes Scholarship for West African Students for the tutorial year. The Rhodes scholarship is run by the Rhodes Trust, Oxford, UK and may be a postgraduate award that seeks to support exceptional students from round the world to review at the University of Oxford, UK. The Rhodes University may be a public research university located in Grahamstown within the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa . it’s one among four universities within the province. Scholars may pursue any full-time postgraduate degree offered by the University of Oxford for the duration of two years with an option for a 3rd year.

Eligibility

• Have been resident in one or more of the countries listed above for a minimum of five of the last ten years.
• Have completed an undergraduate degree from a university or university (normally a Bachelor’s degree) with the very best classification your University awards, e.g. first-class or Upper Second Class Honours.
• Have a sufficiently high standard of English to satisfy English language proficiency requirements (at the upper Level listed) of the University of Oxford.
