This is the Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology’s (AIBN) Entrepreneurial Ph.D. Bursary to support outstanding students in their career development and industry readiness.
The program complements your Ph.D. Scholarships program. The program is designed to develop the attributes of research graduates, with a particular focus on entrepreneurship. Successful candidates will complete the University of Queensland’s Career Development Framework throughout their Ph.D. and on completion of the program, you are eligible for a 6-month scholarship extension (up to 4 years). top-up will recognize the additional requirements for completing courses related to the Career Development Framework, including industry placements.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Scholarships
- Applicants must be international students.
- Have completed some research experience
- Have completed a degree from an accredited university, and
- A Master of Philosophy (or other research-based master’s degree)
- A bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least an honors-level IIA or equivalent.
- Master’s degree from a program approved by the Dean with an overall grade point average of 5.65 on the University of Queensland 7-point scale.
