This program, called Ambassadorial Scholarships, was the world’s largest privately funded international scholarships program, with as many as 800 scholarships awarded annually to students for study during a country aside from their own. the Rotary Foundation’s mission was revised: to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the development of health, the support of education, and therefore the alleviation of poverty. The Ambassadorial Scholarship program was closed and a replacement Rotary Scholarship program developed in line with the restated mission of The Rotary Foundation. Eligibility
- Must be a Graduate or Doctoral Student studying abroad in particular areas of study. Must be a cognate
with the Denver/Boulder Colorado USA area. - The Ambassadorial Scholarship program was closed and a replacement Rotary Scholarship program developed in line with the restated mission of The Rotary Foundation.
