Scholarships for Early Childhood Education
We are pleased to inform you that we have scholarships available for individuals who wish to gain experience and qualifications in teaching and caring for preschool children. Applications are welcome from Sri Lankan citizens for the 2021/22 academic year.
You’ll find teaching specifically for men, women, minorities, and people with disabilities. Most are for graduating high school seniors or those who have completed their GED and are about to begin their first year of higher studies.
It is a good idea to start at the local level. Small towns and rural communities will offer a variety of for intended majors, success in extracurricular activities, community involvement, etc. This is also true for school districts in larger towns; however, in larger areas, competition is significantly more intense. You may also want to look at the religious groups in your community.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships
- Sri Lankan citizens
- Aged 18 years or older
- Pass in English and Math/Science in the GCE/IBE General Level Examination and 2 passes in the GCE A/L examination.
- Equivalent with proficiency in the English language

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
How to Apply
Scholarship Council Canada has an application that is electronic, fill in the proper execution and upload your write-ups. Upon effective application submission, you may receive an acknowledgment and payment receipt that is electronic. Keep it safe as being a delay and reference for the results.
