Students who are nationals of African countries who wish to undertake the 1-year full-time LLM/MPhil in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa (HRDA) programme at the University of Pretoria, can apply to be considered for Scholarships to hide the prices of this programme.

Depending on the supply of funding, full-scholarships covering a minimum of tuition, accommodation and official programme activities are going to be awarded.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be nationals of African countries, who possess the primary degree in Law (LLB, licence en Droit or Licenciatura em direito) or an honours relevant to human rights and democratisation.
Applicants must have a demonstrated professional, academic and private interest in and commitment to human rights and democratisation in Africa and that they should be likely to place the qualification to good use in their future careers, preferably in their country of origin. they need to have excellent academic credentials. Women, also as members of minority groups like indigenous people, LGBTI persons and persons with disabilities, are particularly encouraged to use .
