Short Term Grant for Armenian Studies – Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation

Established in 1956 as a Portuguese foundation for the entire of humanity, the Foundation’s original purpose focused on fostering knowledge and raising the standard of lifetime of persons throughout the fields of the humanities , charity, science and education. the inspiration is of perpetual duration and undertakes its activities structured around its headquarters in Lisbon (Portugal).

The Armenian Communities Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is giving the likelihood to qualified students, academics and researchers in Armenian Studies to participate in activities associated with their field of studies, encouraging academic interaction and exchange of data and concepts . the utmost grant amount are going to be supported proposals received, but shall not exceed 5,000 USD.

Eligibility

  • Who is eligible?
  • Qualified students (Master or PhD degree), academics and researchers in Armenian Studies wishing to attend international seminars, conferences, summer courses and other relevant activities associated with his/her research field. Preference are going to be given to younger scholars.

 

Benefits

Shall not exceed 5,000 USD

Scholarships are awarded 70%-75%
