The Slovakia (SR) offers government scholarships for college kids from selected developing countries who are wish to pursue full-time education studies during a chosen field of study at public universities within the SR.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarships include a monthly grant of a stated amount, accommodation, education at the chosen public university, and SR Government scholarship for 10-month language training if applicable.
Eligibility:
Scholarship for Study in 1st and 2nd Degree education Study Programmes (Hereafter mentioned as Bachelor, Master and Postgraduate Study) within the SR: Persons applying for an SR Government scholarship for bachelor, master or postgraduate education study programmes within the framework of the SR Government’s offer must meet the subsequent conditions:
a) have attained complete education completed by a school-leaving exam. The document on education acquired abroad must be assessed by the Centre for Recognition of Diplomas (Stredisko na uznávanie dokladov o vzdelaní) of the SR Ministry of Education, Science, Research & Sport at Stromová 1, 813 30 Bratislava;
b) meet the conditions for acceptance for education study pursuant to Act no. 131/2002 Coll. on universities and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended, www.minedu.sk;
c) submit a completed form for an SR Government scholarship with the relevant attachments;
d) candidates of 18 to 26 years aged may apply for an SR Government scholarship.
Scholarship for Study in 3rd Degree education Study Programmes (Hereafter mentioned as Doctoral Study) within the SR: Persons applying for a scholarship for doctoral study within the framework of the SR Government’s offer must meet the subsequent requirements:
a) Have completed education during a second degree study programme (having acquired the tutorial title “MSc.” at a far off university or “Mgr.”, “Ing.”, “MUDr.” or “MVDr.” at a university within the SR). The document on education acquired abroad must be assessed by the Centre for Recognition of Diplomas (Stredisko na uznávanie dokladov o vzdelaní) of the SR Ministry of Education, Science, Research & Sport at Stromová 1, 813 30 Bratislava. Its opinion must be attached to the appliance for an SR Government scholarship submitted by the applicant for assessment to the choice committee of the SR Ministry of Education, Science, Research & Sport;
b) Meet the conditions for admission to the interrogation education study programme pursuant to Act no. 131/2002 Coll. on universities and on the amendment of certain acts, as amended;
