The Hewlett-Packard (HP) Women’s Scholarship Fund, unveiled at DLDWomen12, offers two-year scholarships to 100 female students at University of the People (UoPeople) enabling them to review towards an associate during a program of their choice. Students who are awarded a scholarship even have access to mentoring support from HP employees. These HP mentors provide UoPeople students with invaluable guidance and support, enriching their academic learning experience and playing a pivotal role in preparing them for employment after graduation. The mentors are an integral a part of the support students receive during this program.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
University of the People may be a tuition-free, non-profit institution. The University doesn’t charge students to require classes, doesn’t charge for any reading and other study materials, and doesn’t charge for annual enrolment.
However, so as to stay sustainable, UoPeople charges small processing fees for application and examination processing. Applicants are charged a onetime $50 Application Processing Fee to hide the value of reviewing and processing an application. UoPeople charges an Exam Processing Fee of $100 per end-of-course exam. These fees, including the projected maximum cost for the whole course of study , are publicized on the web site and within the Catalogue.
Those individuals who are unable to pay their Exam Processing Fees could also be eligible to use for the HP Women’s Scholarship Fund to hide the value of the exam processing fees, also as potentially the value of the appliance processing fee.
Eligibility:
UoPeople accepts all high-school graduates who have internet access and may prove sufficient knowledge of English language. Applicants must be 18 years and older and prove high school completion through the submission of a high school diploma and transcripts. The diploma and transcripts could also be during a language aside from English provided the applicant submits, additionally, a politician translation document that’s notarized before submittal. Applicants must complete the appliance requirements and undergo the appliance process so as to be accepted into the program. Aspiring female students are eligible to use the HP Women’s Scholarship Fund.
