International Scholarships
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships
The Erasmus Mundus scholarships, funded by the ECU Union, are scholarships for a good range of Erasmus Mundus Joint Programmes at Masters or Doctorate level and targeted to students within and out of doors the EU. The programme offers full scholarships and/or fellowships that cover the living costs, tuition fees, traveling and insurance costs of the scholars.
Commonwealth Scholarships for Commonwealth Countries
Under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP), member countries of the Commonwealth offer Commonwealth Scholarships to other member countries. Through the scholarships, citizens of developing/developed Commonwealth countries can study in other developed/developing member countries. Most Commonwealth scholarships provide tuition fees, living allowance, travel costs, among others.
UNESCO Fellowships Programmes
Training and Research fellowships are jointly offered by UNESCO and partners to reinforce the human resources and capacity-building of the Member States of the United Nations, especially developing countries. The present fellowship programmes are conducted in China, Czech Republic, Poland, Korea, Russia, Israel, Switzerland, Japan, and Saudi Arabia. The fellowships generally cover monthly allowance and travel costs but each fellowship programme offers its own benefits.

Joint Japan International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Scholarships
The Joint Japan International Bank for Reconstruction and Development Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) sponsors students from developing countries to pursue graduate studies resulting in a master’s degree from preferred universities around the world. Scholars are expected to return home to contribute to the event of their country. The scholarship covers travel costs, tuition, and monthly allowance.
ADB Japan Scholarship Program
The Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) aims to supply opportunities for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions within the Asian and Pacific Region. The ADB-JSP provides full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, an allowance for books and instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.
MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program for Africa
The vision of The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program is to teach and develop academically qualified yet economically disadvantaged children in Africa who will contribute to the transformation of the continent. This $500 million program will provide students in lyceum and university with the knowledge and leadership skills needed to contribute to economic and social progress across Africa. Scholars receive support for fees, uniforms, books and supplies, transportation, accommodation, and stipends.
OFID Scholarship Award
OFID (The OPEC Fund for International Development) offers a fully-funded scholarship to qualified applicants who wish to review for a Master’s degree in an accredited University around the world subject to approval. The winner of the OFID Scholarship Award will receive tuition support of up to US$50,000 plus a monthly allowance to hide living expenses, books, and accommodation.
International Scholarships by International Foundations
Rotary Foundation Global Study Grants
The Rotary Foundation offers scholarship opportunities through the Rotary Foundation Global Grants which can be wont to fund postgraduate studies of a Rotary Club nominee in any country where there’s a Rotary Club (in about 70 countries). The grants can cover the partial/full cost of your studies.
Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Program
The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships annually for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from developing countries who haven’t any other means of financing their studies. Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant: 50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year. The inspiration assists students with tuition fees and living expenses only.
Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships
The Boll Foundation awards scholarships to international students who gained their university entrance qualification from a faculty outside of Germany who wish to review a Masters or PhD Degree in Germany. The scholarship value is €750 per month for Masters Students or €1000 per month for PhD students, plus € 100 mobility allowance per month. Tuition fees aren’t funded.
Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarships for Developing Countries
The Wells Mountain Foundation, a public charitable foundation based in Bristol, Vermont, USA, funds scholarships for people in developing nations or other situations of utmost poverty to review their choice of institution in their home country or in another developing country. Scholarships support tuition and costs, books and materials, and other approved costs.
PEO International Peace Scholarships
The International Peace Scholarship Fund may be a program that provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate study in an accredited college or university within us and Canada. The utmost amount awarded to a student is $10,000.
Open Society Foundation Civil Society Leadership Award
The Civil Society Leadership Awards (CSLA) provide fully-funded master’s degree study to individuals who clearly demonstrate academic and professional excellence and a deep commitment to leading positive social change in their communities. The scholarship is hospitable citizens of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Laos, Libya, Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan. The scholarship program covers tuition fees, monthly stipend, travel costs, insurance, etc.
