Brief description:
UNESCO is making available 20 UNESCO/ISEDC Co-Sponsored Fellowships to reinforce capacity-building and human resources development within the area of sustainable and renewable energy sources in developing countries and countries in transition. The training activities within the framework of those fellowships are tenable in specialized institutions within the Russia. The medium of instruction is going to be English. The fellowships are offered in conjunction with the UNESCO Category II International Center for Sustainable Energy Development (ISEDC) in Moscow (Russian Federation) and therefore the fellowship is of 1-month duration, from 5 October to 30 October 2020.
Eligible fields of study for the young candidates are:
(a) Energy and sustainable development;
(b) Ecological management of energy resources;
(c) Renewable energy;
(d) Sustainable and renewable energy power generation.

Scholarship value/inclusions:
• Beneficiaries are going to be exempt of paying tuition fees for the whole duration of studies/training.
• Fellows will undertake studies/training under the supervision of an advisor or study director which will be provided by the host institution.
• The donor Government can pay stipends to beneficiaries on a monthly basis, in local currency. The stipend amounting to US$450 is meant to hide living expenses like accommodation, meals, pocket expenses, and incidentals. The donor will determine the quantity of the stipend to be granted to beneficiaries.
• ISEDC will assist in obtaining modest housing for the fellows.
• UNESCO will cover the value of the round-trip international travel at the foremost economical rate and therefore the most flight .
• UNESCO can pay a one-time allowance amounting to US$100.
• insurance for those declared medically fit by the UNESCO Medical Service.
Eligibility:
Applicants from invited developing countries and countries in transition must have a minimum of a BSc degree or BA in Economics, who are not any quite 35 years old. they need to be proficient within the English .
