University of Leeds Business School Economics Division Scholarship in the UK
The Economics Department at the University of Leeds conducts cutting-edge research from five broadly defined research themes: macroeconomics and macroeconomic policy; work, labor, and organizations; financialization and globalization; development and welfare; and the environment, infrastructure, innovation, and the circular economy.
Within the different research themes, we take an open approach to economic issues, offering our Ph.D. students unique and distinctive research experiences that are realistic, interdisciplinary, and policy-relevant. For more information on our areas of research expertise and potential mentors.
In recognition of academic achievement, the University of Leeds will award a Division of Business School Economics Scholarship. The scheme is available for the academic year 2021-2022. The competition is open to both national and international applicants and covers the full cost of tuition for those wishing to pursue a Ph.D. program. At least one support will be awarded.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Leeds
- Applicants must not have earned or been pursuing a Ph.D.
- Awards must be received by October 1, 2021.
- The award is available to new graduate researchers conducting full-time or part-time research leading to a Ph.D. Students already registered to conduct doctoral research are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must reside within reasonable reach of the University of Leeds for the duration of the Fellowship.
