Brief description:
The University of Waterloo is offering the International Master’s Award of Excellence (IMAE) to international students who wish to undertake Master’s degree programs that are research-based, at the University of Waterloo. Faculties will nominate eligible students supported the Faculty’s award allocation. Students are going to be selected supported academic excellence as demonstrated through their application for admission to the graduate program.

The scholarship award is valued at $2,500 per term for a maximum of 5 terms.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be International students with a legitimate Canadian study permit who are registered full time and assessed international tuition fees. The scholarship will normally be awarded to Master’s degree students in research-based programs (thesis or major research paper). Only students entering the primary term of their program are eligible. Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence through criteria established by the school and must meet the tutorial progress requirements of their program and not have outstanding probationary admission requirements.
