The primary mission of the Watson-Brown Foundation is to supply need and merit-based scholarships to chose Georgia and South Carolina students attending accredited four-year colleges and universities within the us. The founder, Walter J. Brown, believed college education provides the simplest avenue towards success and fulfilment. The Watson-Brown Foundation scholarships are awarded to students from communities in and near the Savannah valley which is where Brown was raised and spent most his adult life. This internal scholarship program is entirely managed by the staff of the inspiration while scholarship awards are decided by the board of trustees during its regular second quarter meeting. It awards scholarships supported academic merit and financial got to help students with the prices of tuition, books, and room and board. Scholarship checks are going to be mailed directly from the inspiration to the aid office of the recipient’s college of choice. The scholarship committee considers all aspects of the student’s application, the inspiration will combine a student’s highest sub-scores from each test. Please confirm it includes all of your test scores in your application materials.
